Notice: The Deer Hollow Homeowner's Association will not be sending out duplicate invoices/coupons for 2009 assessments. I spoke with Landmark Bank and they sent coupons to every homeowner, addressed to the last known address supplied to us by the homeowner. It is each homeowner's responsibility to keep their addresses updated. The Association is not a baby sitter. We are not going to waste the Association's money on postage, paper, and manpower hours. Each homeowner signed a piece of paper at their closing agreeing to abide by the declarations and bylaws.
The assessments are due each year on February 1.
All assessments not paid by March 1, 2009, will be turned over to the attorney for collection - no exceptions. There will be no "courtesy late notices."
Those people requesting new invoices can mail their check to Landmark Bank at P.O. Box 5429, Sarasota, Fl., 34237. Note their lot # on the memo section of the check to help credit their account accurately.
Posted Sept 9th, 2008: When Deer Hollow was conceived in the mid 1980's, it was done so within the guidelines as set forth in the governing documents created at that time. Of course since then, changes in lifestyle, technology, the environment and even the law, dictate that the requirements of the community need to be re-addressed and updated accordingly. The governing documents are in the process of being updated and we will keep the residents of Deer Hollow informed accordingly.
SECURITY BULLETIN: In order to provide the residents of Deer Hollow with added layer of safety, the Board of Directors has hired a professional security company to do random drives through the community looking for strange or suspicious people or activities. The vehicles will be properly lettered and the occupant(s) will have proper identification and should produce same, if requested. As always, please feel free to report any activity you feel is detrimental to our community. Your Board 9/9/08
Posted March 12th, 2008: The March 10, 2008 Board of Directors meeting was not held due lack of a quorum.
